It is important to us living in North Tx to have a covered parking space, but charging $75 per month is an excessive amount and should be reduced.

Great response to request and much needed because it was about heating unit and it’s 17 degrees outside. A winter storm was in progress and maintenance was in building and available to fix.

We are mostly happy here. Things delivered are as expected. The staff is very helpful and responsive. Maintenance, the few times we needed something, has been great. We are most concerned about affordable. Like most folks here, we are on a fixed income...

It would be to your advantage to buy better HVAC filters. The cheap ones you’re using will only last a couple of months whereas the better corrugated filters can last up to 12 months. In the long run, you save money and maintenance work time. I was very happy with the speediness of resolving my request. Martin was pleasant and efficient and got the job done quickly. Thank you.

Jordan at Mera Craig Ranch was amazing during my visit. He was warm, high-energy, and listened attentively while allowing me to ask questions. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and very welcoming. I highly recommend this community and their amazing staff—Jordan truly made my day.

Everything was done correctly, but I still have problem with hot water. It changed a little but hot water is after one shower. It’s almost gone so I don’t know. I’ll talk to the office but this is my correct review. Thank you so much.

The high level of concern and care of the staff members for their residents is something we don’t find much these days. All the staff are top notch and the facilities are on the level of a resort. I am super happy cause I now have heat. Response was quick and even though a part had to be ordered it was fixed the next day. Extra effort offering an overnight heater if I needed and making sure all my windows were tightly closed. Positive Alvarez experience.

I was blown away by this property. I have been visiting communities in the area for my step-mom, and I now can’t imagine her living anywhere else when the time comes. Amanda was so helpful and understanding of our situation, and from a brief interaction that I witnessed, I could see that she really cares for the residents, and they for her. That speaks volumes to me and makes me confident in recommending it to people I care about.

Update: I am not able to delete my prior negative review, so I am going to attempt to amend it. I spoke with maintenance this afternoon, and realized that there was a misunderstanding/miscommunication on the dryer repair. Ray took the to time to clarify and explain what happened. I appreciate that. I opened a request vial the portal on 10/25. The request was closed and mark completed , but the work was never done. I re-opened the request yesterday on 10/28. I also followed up with a phone call yesterday, right after re-submitting the request. I spoke with a rep from maintenance, he said they were dealing with a few emergencies, but they’d get to my mom’s dryer first thing in the morning (today). As of right now, 11:17 am, my mother’s dryer still isn’t working, and no one from maintenance has been by.This is day 5 of her not having a working dryer.

After 3 months of living at this property, I can truly say that it is the best community that I have lived in! The team ticks all of the boxes. From Amanda and Tonya, to Tracilynn and Christine, the front office staff has been warm, accommodating, and professional at every step. Our maintenance team steps up at every occasion and are quick and efficient in addressing concerns with residents. Perhaps the best part about living here is the opportunity to get to meet our neighbors and foster relationships throughout the week. We have enjoyed karaoke nights, potlucks, and celebrations that have brought the community together and made us a family! If you are considering this community, look no further! Home is at Mera Craig Ranch.

I was helping my mom find a cost-friendly apartment that still had life and community—and we found it here! The apartment itself is beautiful, full of natural light, and comes with nice appliances. The staff were incredibly helpful during our tour and made the whole process easy to navigate. My mom has been living here since May and she absolutely loves it. There are plenty of activities, great communication from the office, and—her favorite part—the other residents are so kind and welcoming. All ages are active and included, which makes the community feel vibrant and friendly. If you’re looking for a place with both comfort and connection, I’d highly recommend stopping by for a tour. You won’t regret it!

I have been living here at Mera Craig Ranch a little over one month now. And each day has been a very warm welcome from the staff and residents.The first day of my interview went very well with Amanda,,, she showed me around the facility and I met some of the residents. She showed me the Azure floor plan which was the one I was interested in getting. I loved that floor plan very much. I came on August 16th to pick up my resident folder. Tracilynn and Christine greeted me with a warm welcome. I almost made it to the breakfast brunch, but I was running a few minutes late. I must admit all of the staff members are very professional and knowledgeable. One day I met Tonya in the hall way near the office , she took time out to answer my questions in a timely manner. I must admit,,, this has been one the best 55+ Active Adult community that I have visited. Great amenities. A great customer service staff.

I have been living here for a month now and absolutely love it here. I moved from out of state and the ladies in the leasing office were fantastic. They helped me select an apartment, Amanda went out of her way and sent me videos and did a walk through for me so I can see the apt virtually. I decided to fly to Texas to see the apartment and Tonya helped me and then I decided to switch from the one I had selected to another one and Tracilynn did an excellent job switching everything over to the new one. No mistakes. Thank you!! The community here is wonderful, the people are so loving and warm. I feel right at home here. The events are engaging and they are continually having different events with food and entertainment. It's hard to be bored here because there is so much to do. I absolutely love my apartment, the cabinets are white and the light wood floors. The attention to detail in the way they designed the apartment, tons of storage and top of the line appliances. I am very happy with my decision to move

I love living here. After I sold my house, I had a hard time adjusting to "Senior" living, but MERA has been a great help. The only thing I miss are scheduled gym classes. The other places I lived had either an on-staff person or contracted person to conduct gym classes and offer personal training. One place charged a monthly fee for classes and another did not. Personal training sessions were offered at $50 an hour, paid by the resident.

Martin changed the refrigerator Filter quickly. He opened the HVAC intake to check the filter and it was cleaner than expected but is also one of the very good filters that lasts longer. This was good because there were no 20X20 filters available. I sure hope when you get them they will be the good filters instead of the cheap fiberglass ones that need to be changed monthly. In the long run the good ones would save money. Martin did an excellent job, was polite and professional and even checked my windows to make sure they were closed and locked properly.

My husband and I met with Amanda at Mera to view the property. She was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. The property is not fully built-out yet but what we saw looks very nice. The apartments are nicely appointed and appear to be well-built. Many amenities are available at this property. We are going ahead with leasing and I can only say all positive things about our experience thus far.

I visited Mera several times but wasn’t sure about moving there. I scheduled an appointment to visit a sister community to actually see the layout and size of the apartments. While at that appointment I found out Kathy W was going to be working at Mera. I signed my lease right there and then. Kathy W is an amazing caring lady. We have officed next to the office of the Mera staff. Before they were in our office building while construction of the facility, there was not much of a community in our building. Since they have arrived, the building has develped into a friendly warm community and interbusiness relationships. Look forward to seeing the community of residences once property is opened.
